Actually I’m little bit confuse, why people so excited about diamond, diamond is the best gemstone, if you cannot afford diamond you are poor, diamond is the only one gemstone that can be used for engagement or wedding ring, the most beautiful gemstone in the world is diamond, etc.

It’s not that I hate diamond, it just don’t limit your options only with the diamonds. If you want to buy diamond because you like the color, its flawless, its shine, its “fire”, then it’s fine for you to buy diamond (of course if you can afford to buy it ). But if you want to buy diamonds because everyone tells you to do so, I recommend you to think twice before you decide it to buy diamond. OK, I’ll make it simple for you, which one do you like, you buy emerald ring, and you still have some money to take her vacation, or you buy diamond ring and after that you can’t give her another surprise.

If you can afford to buy a diamond, but your heart tells you that emerald is better or you like it more, don’t hesitate to buy it. For me, emerald looks more calm, and if your girl has green eyes, it will be a perfect choice to match with the emerald ring. After all you are men; you should take a decision by yourself, not because of people’s opinions.

OK, so you like the emerald ring, and now the only one problem is you afraid that she don’t like it, I just can say “Just Buy it!” What if she doesn’t like it? 14 parts of gold plus 10 parts other metal will create 14K gold, while 18 parts of gold plus 6 parts other metal will create 18K gold. Plus some people reported they have allergic reaction with nickel. For these reasons, gold that mixed with palladium is a better choice.

Learn A Little About Diamond 4Cs Before You Buy Diamond Band

What is the difference between diamond rings with the diamond band? Maybe for some people that is a stupid question, but actually I ask this question once . The difference is for the diamond ring usually only use 1-3 diamonds just on one side of the ring, while diamond band use more than three diamonds, usually with same size and same type of cut.

Diamond band or some people call it eternity band reflects a never ending love; it would be a perfect gift for a wedding anniversary. But of course, it’s perfect for fashion too.

Since diamond dominated the diamond band appearance, so it’s better if you learn a little about diamond. Usually diamond that used for diamond band is not a number one quality diamond. Because if it is number one quality, I bet that would be super duper expensive, and you have to insurance that. And the insurance also as expensive as the diamond band price.

4Cs (Cut, Color, Clarity and Carat) are the four aspects that mention about diamond quality and determine the price.

First, we talk about the color. Color of the diamond describe by a letter from D to Z. D is most colorless diamond, while Z means the diamond have light yellow color. From grade D-G can consider as a colorless diamond, H-L near colorless, from M bellow will have yellowish color. Usually the diamond used in diamond band have grade H-L.

Clarity means diamond purity. Best clarity diamond describes as Internally Flawless (IF). Here are the orders of diamond clarity: IF-VVS1-VVS2-VS1-VS2-SI1-SI2-I1-I2-I3. VVS means Very Very Slightly Included (the diamond has a very very small inclusion), VS means Very Slightly included, SI means Slightly included, while “I” mean the diamond have inclusions that can be seen by a trained naked eyes.

Cut will determine how well diamond reflects the light. Good cut will reflect the light that enters the diamond back to the surface of the diamond and makes the diamond looks shine and sparkle. Poor cut will cause the light that enters diamonds exits through the bottom or the sides of diamond.

Carat is the weight of the diamond. 1 Carat (1.00ct) = 100 points diamond = 0.2 gram. So if there any 50 point diamond, means that diamond is half a carat (0.50ct) = 0.1 gram.
