If you have someone special in your life, and you want to give her something special, you can give her emerald rings as a gift, especially if her favorite color is green. Emerald will match perfectly with white color metal such as white gold, platinum, titanium, silver or even stainless steel. But if you want more vivid looks, you can use yellow gold as the ring material; it’s just a matter of taste.

After you choose the ring material, you have to decided which setting you will be used. You can use just one emerald stone on your rings or you can use another stones to enhance the beauty of emerald. Diamonds is another stones that usually chosen to used together with emerald. Whatever setting that you choose, you must remember that emerald have brittle characteristic, so you must choose the setting that will protect its vulnerable point.

Color is one of the most important factors that determine the quality of emerald. Good quality emerald will have deep vivid green color. It will worth much more than emerald with pale color. The color also should be uniform. The other factors to consider are clarity (inclusions), the cut (polish and symmetry) and of course carat.

Jeweler offer many style and models of emerald rings with many different rings material, settings and emerald quality. But if you want to be more unique, you can buy just the emerald stone and ask the jeweler to make the rings. Just make sure you go to the well known jeweler to do this job.
