However, with so many stores selling diamonds rings, choosing the right one can be tiring and confusing process. Before you buy the diamonds rings and to make it easier for you, it is better if do some research and understand several things.

First and most importantly, you must know your budget. Diamonds rings are an expensive thing. I know you want to make your love one happy by giving her the best diamonds rings you can afford. But, you must think about the cost for your wedding too right? So, it’s better if already know how much you will spend for your wedding ceremony and then you’ll know how much you can spend for the diamonds rings.

Second, you must find out about your love one taste. Is it she likes round diamonds cut, princess diamonds cut or maybe heart shape diamonds cut, etc. Also, is it she is an active person or not. After that you can do your comparison and you will know if the stores are selling their diamonds rings too expensive or not based on the diamonds quality. If you want to buy expensive diamonds rings, I highly recommend you to buy the diamonds that have certificate from trusted grading lab such as GIA, AGS, and EGL.

Gold is the material that commonly used for wedding bands, but there are some other choices for a man that wants to be different. The most preferred material to use as mens wedding bands besides gold is Titanium, platinum and recently tungsten carbide.

Titanium is a hypo-allergenic and corrosion free metal. This material is light weight but strong. Usually the colors of titanium are grey, but there’s also black titanium and some anodized with another color.

Platinum is a white metal, and it looks like white gold ring, but harder, heavier and stronger. Platinum ring is a rare material, and that what makes platinum rings so expensive.

Tungsten carbide is the hardest material from all the material that used to make mens rings (8 - 9 Mohs hardness scale, while diamond is 10). If you want scratch resistance ring, tungsten carbide ring is your best choice. Because it’s hard, you can wear it anytime anywhere.

Actually there are still other options for mens wedding bands material, such as stainless steel, silver, exotic material such as carbon fiber, etc. Silver is not used for mens wedding bands because they are not so durable. Good quality stainless steel ring actually can be used for mens wedding bands, but they are not so popular because most people don’t see stainless steel rings as a precious metal.
